از تنوع رویاها و اهدافی که زندگی میتواند به انسان ها عرضه کند شگفت زده شدم.این یکی از نخستین افکاری یود که با زندگی در توکیو به آن رسیدم.این فکر که جامعه به تعداد اندکی نیاز دارد که علاقه و شاید شور و شوقی برای کشیدن نقشه های جغرافیایی داشته باشند.اما عجیب این بود که چرا شخصی که میخواست نقشه برداری کند باید با هر بار بیان کلمه ی نقشه به لکنت بیفتد.استروم تروپر جز در مواقعی که کلمه ی نقشه را بیان میکرد اصلا لکنت نداشت.
