'Days Before Rodeo' is just the journey of me finding out who I am.

With albums like 'Rodeo,' 'Days Before Rodeo' and 'Owl Pharaoh,' I was really tuned into wanting to get people to understand my conscious and who I was mentally and who I am mentally.

There's probably some misunderstanding of who I am and how I roll.

'Shortcomings' was me figuring out who I am.

I'm a writer; it's not just what I do, but who I am.
