A cleaner community is a healthy community. It increases economic growth and decreases crime and decreases health risks.

We've seen a definite increase in illegal dumping.

We are easily shocked by crimes which appear at once in their full magnitude, but the gradual growth of our own wickedness, endeared by interest, and palliated by all the artifices of self-deceit, gives us time to form distinctions in our own favor,

Although they might not be able to reduce community rates of violent crime, it's possible they can affect household level risk factors for gun suicide, accidents and homicide,

In our community we don't think of crime as being a big issue. We feel safe here. So this really shocks us that this would happen. And when you get that shock there are people who are vulnerable to having high stress or high anxiety in response to that.

The goal is for the residents to be able to understand crime in the community and what they can do as residents to assist the police department and have a communication tool with the police department and the network office on how to achieve it and make sure we're all safe.
