A couple of years ago, they were just putting their toes in the water. Now they're saying the water's nice and jumping in.

They are saying they don't want anyone to even touch the water. Now I know how a flounder feels. I was getting tossed all over the place.

It's flooded. I've been getting text messages saying the water was going through the second floor. I'm sure everything is gone.

Out West, there is a saying that water flows to money. But in New Orleans, water flows away from money. Those with resources who control where the drainage goes have always chosen to live on the high ground. So the people in the low areas were hardest hit.
