A lot of guys could have easily [thrown] in the towel in the second half. But a lot of guys fought.

The guys really rose to the occasion tonight. They could have been demoralized and could have thrown in the towel. It was real good resolve and real good character.

It definitely could have got to us, we could have done the exact opposite and thrown in the towel. Instead we won pretty much the rest of our games.

We had some injuries, some guys with cramps. That kind of limited what we could do in the second half. We're going to throw the ball [throughout the season] out of the shot gun. Our quarterback is very accurate.

Defensively we started to zero in on guys (in the second half). We just had to do a better job of (identifying) shooters. Offensively, in the second half we got our act together and started moving the ball. More guys started scoring and that made a big difference.

It's a starting point. There were some pretty good glimpses in terms of character, and a pretty good second-half performance,
