A lot of guys don't know if they're going to be here. It was like, 'Alright, I'll see you whenever.' I was like, 'Come on, don't be like that right now.' That's probably the saddest thing, but hopefully we keep the nucleus. We've got great team chemistry.

Offensively, we did what we had to do. We got some guys on base and were hitting the ball alright, but we needed to make a couple more plays in the field.

Karl was no glamour boy. But even during this first meeting I discovered he had something better. The kind of intelligence that's more attractive than physical beauty.

We should be alright for this game. We are still moving players into different positions because of injuries, but I think we will be ready.

We always made sure everything was alright, that we were all comfortable. We were always fighting and bitching, whining, complaining. Spending each other's money, lie, cheat and steal.
