A lot of people were wondering how they (Marshall) got here, just like they were wondering how we got here. Well, I'll tell you they're a darn good basketball team. So are we. I don't think two other teams could have played a better championship game.

It was a game of spurts. We had a couple of good spurts and they had a couple of good ones. I'm just happy we had the last one. I never thought we'd let it get away. But I didn't have time to worry, really. I was too busy trying to think of things to get us back in it.

He was the only player who really stood out during the tryout and he proved himself throughout the season.

That's what we're hoping to do. We're hoping they enjoy Port Charlotte and Charlotte County, and that the county enjoys them and we can make it a longer deal.

It was a decent day. I'm just tired, that's all.

My biggest thrill was seeing the Amish. Their way of life, to me, is just fascinating, that people in this day and time can still live like that.
