A lot was happening, plus there were an enormous number of people in the industry that were going to conventions, so it was a pretty fun time. Also there was a lot of controversy and I was at the forefront of some of that.

That became a big time in comic books because it's when people were starting to break out into independent stuff, the market was getting choked with speculators and everybody was trying to do their own trick covers.

We just decided it's time to let the people have a little fun.

It's just supposed to be fun and people are supposed to have a good time watching it.

I don't want people to be afraid of skiing because it's awfully fun. It's a darn good time. I really think you need to have a partner where you partner up and the two of you work it out where the top person watches the first person go down. That person stops and watches the other. And make sure they're nowhere near a tree.

It'll be fun to see people (that you know). Once you get on the field, it's game time.
