A major problem for Black women, and all people of color, when we are challenged to oppose anti-Semitism, is our profound skepticism that white people can actually be oppressed.

This helps (the students) in getting over their shyness of talking to adults and (shows them) how they need to open up.

We would like for every kid in northeast Ohio to receive a letter. It can be left on a pillow, mailed, stuck in a lunch box, e-mailed, or read over the phone. It doesn't have to be long. We just want parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, neighbors, mentors, and all adults to participate. It is a simple act that sticks with a child for a long time.
