A majority government could provide a lot of extra momentum for a currency that's already in favor. We could see a gain of 5 percent fairly quickly.

We have a constructive view on the currency at the end of the year. There is definitely a risk that we may see inversion in commodities prices. My perception is that it isn't a big risk at this stage.

We have to defend the rights that were won by our ancestors and which the current government is trying to take away.

It's really become a political issue -- it's on hold until you get a majority government.

Such a government would have a huge majority in the lower house and should face few difficulties getting the upper house on side, but such a government would be likely to be racked by divisions and would probably find making policy decisions difficult.
