Seek not greater wealth, but simpler pleasure; not higher fortune, but deeper felicity.

A man willing to work, and unable to find work, is perhaps the saddest sight that fortune's inequality exhibits under this sun.

Happiness is inward, and not outward; and so, it does not depend on what we have, but on what we are.
