A murky weekend is the ideal excuse to pack up a picnic basket and enjoy the great outdoors.

When summer rolls around, “eating out” takes on a whole new meaning.

The charms of the wild rose, new-mown hay, baked bread, buttered popcorn, smell of coffee, frying bacon and the smell of rain hitting dry ground! Everything felt a little bit livelier. Awesome!

Summer: Flip flops have found their destination. The season has also given a reason to embrace umbrellas and rain boots.

Salt in the air, sun kissed hair. Harley bikers are back. Jazz on the streets, kite surfing, fireworks, festivals, music, night bazaar, movies & popcorns, farmers market, strange flowers, sunglasses, journal, sun hat, country side, beaches, no makeup and the list goes on. I feel summer creepin' in. Every summer has a story. Bliss is the sand between my toes. Some of the best memories are made in flip flops! It’s a smirk, it's a memoir, it's a sip of lemonade... it's summertime!

The sky was back to a milky-grey and the dripping trees were a darker shade of green; but the most striking change— hottest week is gone and the flip flops have found their destination
