A poem need not have a meaning and like most things in nature often does not have.

Perhaps the truth depends on a walk around the lake.

A poem is a meteor.

I know noble accents
And lucid, inescapable rhythms;
But I know, too,
That the blackbird is involved
In what I know.

The imagination is man's power over nature.

In the world of words, the imagination is one of the forces of nature.
