A strong economy begins with a strong, well-educated workforce.

Job creation in the 21st century economy can't be business as usual. Competition is global, and it's fierce. We must aggressively support Colorado's economic pillars. Tourism and Agriculture are superb economic generators and we are all proud of these key industries.

We know that, when it comes to technology and the economy, if you're not constantly moving forward, then - without a doubt - you're moving backwards.

The U.S. economy is performing quite well. We've had two very good years of robust growth. We're looking for it to slow a little bit in 2006 but for it to still be another pretty strong year.

This program will do more to promote the state's education and economy than any other investment. Still, there is more to do. We need to make sure teachers are well-educated and we need to make sure classroom sizes stay small.

Warren is obviously a very long-term thinker. The economy recovery, whether it's first-quarter, second-quarter, or second half of the year, doesn't influence his thoughts on valuations.
