ASUM wants legislators to realize that by investing money into the University of Missouri, they are investing in a brighter future for the state of Missouri.

ASUM hosts the Student Showcase every year in order for unique academic programs in the UM system to present their programs and their accomplishments to legislators.

If a student has already paid tuition for his or her university, that's it, we don't take any money,

It was a minor mistake and the money was paid back to the university out of his own pocket. Still, it is a violation.

The university has had to find other creative ways of providing money.

I think it means, just because we're a small, historical black university, that we still hold our, have our importance.
