absolutely delighted with the state of our relations with the People's Republic of China.

Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Belize and the Republic of China in 1989, Taiwan has been good to Belize. Over the years, the ties of friendship have been strengthened through a dynamic technical agricultural mission and economic cooperation in the housing and infrastructural development, trade, investment and tourism promotion.

The Republic of China (Taiwan) deeply regretted this and decided to break relations with Senegal immediately and stop all aid programs to the country to safeguard the dignity and sovereignty of our country.

The Republic of China of Taiwan is in need of resources and has to look at the markets of the world, ... We have the technology and the capability, but we don't have the markets here in Alaska.

I am delighted it isn't going ahead.

U.S.-China relations are in difficult shape.
