Abstinence until marriage is the best thing for young people physically, emotionally, psychologically and spiritually. It's the best thing for society as a whole, and it's the message that schools absolutely ought to be sending.

If all the state is willing to pay for are abstinence-only until marriage programs, then that's all many young people are going to get.

I'd hate to be a teetotaller. Imagine getting up in the morning and knowing that's as good as you're going to feel all day.

...for a couple to engage in sex before marriage is doubly wrong—they are enjoying pleasures not intended for them, and they are taking a chance of creating a human life outside of the family structure God intended for every child.

Young people are confused. Of course I have no problem with the abstinence approach, but you have to be realistic and offer an alternative for different situations.

Hopefully people will step up to the plate within the 90 days. They won't be trained to take over, but if somebody says they'll do it, we'll look elsewhere for the training.
