Actually, just saying it now, I just realized it's my last regular season race. I guess there wasn't anything going through my mind. I kind of look toward states and the Foot Locker race as being the sentimental ones.

I expected it. We were in the Commonwealth District last year and I knew the teams here were competitive.

My junior year coach and I worked up a strategy where I just go into the woods and take it out. I don't know why but I run better in the woods. I went into the woods and I knew I had to pick it up a little bit. I was hoping for a little more lead than I had.

I think the conditions played a big part. When I ran here the first time this year, it was gorgeous. I think with better conditions maybe I could have broken my record. I'm not disappointed with it because I see this as a tune-up for districts.

I'm not saying this race is finished, but we're confident we can win.

People have been saying we have the best schedule for the wild-card race, but I don't know that's true, ... These guys are tough, and we still have to play the game. Anything can happen, and obviously tonight Roger didn't have his best stuff, and they capitalized on it and we weren't able to stay in the game.
