Actually, we chose the name Sun Cellular because we believe the name 'Sun' is bright, forward-looking and optimistic. It is my sincere hope that the whole Philippines will share our positive outlook, optimism and faith in the country's future.

In the matters of hope, it helps to know how to make a mountain of a mole-hill.

Every problem has a gift for you in its hands” (Richard Bach). And if not every problem, then just about every one. Even spectacular sunsets are not possible without cloudy skies. Troubles bring a gift for those who choose to look. And since I can't avoid my problems, why waste them? I should look for the gift. My life will be far, far richer for finding it.

Sufferers of optimism tend to present with annoying symptoms of cheerfulness and are ineffectively treated with large doses of realism.

The hope is there. The sun is rising. Our best days are yet to come.
