Affirmative action is the attempt to deal with malignant racism by instituting benign racism

Racism is a "White attitudinal problem."

We don't know anything about racism. We've never experienced it. If words can make a difference in your life for seven minutes, how would it affect you if you heard this every day of your life?

Some folks of color clamor on about how they don't want their white friends to feel uncomfortable when addressed with the topic of race. Well I say, if they're your friend they'll understand the need. Being uncomfortable leads to action, hopefully affirmative.
