After we lost that game to Bowman, we preached to our kids about not letting that loss give us another loss.

Everything went against us early, but the kids did a great job. It was just back and forth. They had us down and out and we fought back. It was one of the greatest football games I have ever coached in.

That loss is behind us for good. It's like I told the kids, we have to keep looking forward.

I don't remember the last time we played Bowman here. It seems every time we play we're going down there. It will be good not to have to travel, but with both teams having such a large fan base, it's going to be hard to tell who has the most people.

The kid's attitudes have been good this week, but with the weather we haven't been able to get out on the field like we wanted to for practice. We're a long way from being a good team, but these kids have to find their own identity.

We started slow out of the gate last week, and had some turnovers early. We also committed a lot of penalties and we know we can't do that this week. I've told our guys that Bowman is good enough as it is, and we don't need to help them by playing sloppy.
