After we lost to St. Joe's, we knew we had to step it up. It's not fun losing, but I think that game is going to help us in the long run.

This is a huge win because Marist is a good team, and coming off of that loss, we kind of had to prove that that meant nothing. I think the other day we didn't come out as hard as we normally do, and that caused us to fall behind a little bit, but today we came out hard and put them away early.

We weren't getting some calls, and I think that bothered us in the first half. But we didn't let that type of stuff affect us in the second half.

We had a lot to prove here. People say we are the most loved or hated team. We came out and proved that we are No. 1 and that's where we're supposed to be.

We weren't hitting and they weren't hitting. It was going back and forth, and it was kind of dead for a while. In the second half, we knew we had to take better shots and we hit them.

I want players to enjoy the course. Losing your ball is no fun, so we wanted the player to be able to at least hack it back into play from the desert.
