Again, taxpayers will not be responsible for this. We are going to seek third-party reimbursement from whoever the Coast Guard deems is at fault.

Monday night will be a little different. We're doing something called traffic pacing. It's a rolling roadblock. We'll use off duty police officers. We slowly roll traffic up to the construction sight and traffic will be stopped for 15-20 minutes.

Contrary to reports, no member of staff or traveling party ever called the golf course in question and we are not sure where the story came from.

The DOT's hands are really tied at this point because the fencing issue is on private property. Unfortunately, there's not much we can do.

They're really moving out there.
