Again, we gave up a run in the first inning. That's three games in a row we gave up a run in the first. Hopefully, that won't happen (today).

There were only one or two games where a coach didn't show up, and those were games I told them not to come to. I thought she did a real good job of handling it, because most of the games where there were a lot of coaches there, she played really well.

That's when we seemed to get focused, whenever that happens. Our kids have been in some tough, close games, and we realized if we get the ball in the right people's hands, we're going to make free throws down the stretch, and that's what we did.

Are we where we need to be to win football games? I don't think so. But I think we're going in the right direction and think that's what spring is all about.

I'm proud of the boys, because they have gone through stretch of four games in six days. Our defense did a great job of marking up their top scorers and we got the win. That puts us in first place in the league.

The kids just played an exceptional game. Defense right now is playing very strong with five shutouts in 10 games. I'm excited for the guys that they were able to have a good offensive output tonight, and I hope we can that into the next two games this week.
