All I can say is it was not easy. I had to practice really hard to get my shot back. I just came out and let it ride.

I think getting ready for Summertown for us will be more mental than physical. We have a great team and you couldn't ask for any better teammates or coaches. We just have to put (loss to Forrest) behind us and look forward to the next game.

It's been since 1980 a girls team from Houston County has gotten this far. We're proud of what we've done so far and we're proud to represent our community.

Having to sit and watch the district tournament was hard, not being out there. But the girls won it without me and I was glad I could just come back and do what I could to help them (in the region).

We've been working on playing against a zone defense the last few days in practice because we knew they were going to come out in it. They weren't coming out on us at all, so whoever was open was shooting. We're all good 3-point shooters.

Make sure we keep our focus, make sure we practice hard all week, and sleep well when we do have our off days.
