All of these families left before the storm to come here to be with family. Some will go back as soon as they get the OK to do so, but they simply don't know at this point.

We will have a food truck there, so we hope everyone will drive through in the morning and get coffee and a pastry or take their lunch break with us. When parents are taking their kids to school, they should leave a little early and stop by.

Every family gathering is difficult. My dad has four great-grandchildren he has never seen. I have two twin grandchildren that will never know him. We can tell them about him, but that's all they will have,

It's just unimaginable what Susan's going through. I would never even want to walk in the shoes of this family.

It did get hard as she progressed. It was harder to take family vacations and to get off the ice for any length of time.
