All the major economic issues remain on the table. We're not going to the table with an answer to any of these issues. We have not wanted a strike. There are no winners in a strike.

Accounting and other issues are still overriding the market. There have been some reasonably good economic numbers but the earnings situation hasn't gotten as good as it could. You could make a case for the bull and the bear.

We're all hopeful we'll find an answer to the issues,

It is not undignified to ask the nominee questions he would rather not answer, should he prefer to remain inscrutable, or worse yet, all things to all people.

I'm not aware of any reports of major absences. I haven't heard of any issues with attendance.

There are a tremendous amount of environmental issues that are on the table.
