All these things that enter your head are assignments. You write them up and then throw them out there and if someone wants to do it, your assignment is done.

You try to figure out things to keep yourself interested. It's very easy to get lulled.

I don't enter, I'm entered. It's up to someone else. It's up to them.

No one wants to hear everything that's in your head. They just want you to live up to what comes out of your mouth.

You know those things that you throw the twigs into and it spits them out? That's what I do. The branches are like life, and I throw them into my head and some of it comes out as humor.

Comedians kind of write what comes to them. You can give yourself little assignments, but it's what inspires you.
