All we can do now is put the past behind us and start playing to our potential.

I knew that the pain I felt now was here to stay. In many forms. Through many nights.

He has the potential to be as good any of the past three we've had here. He's waited, waited and waited. Now it's his time.

Let us forget the frustrations of the past and think of our unfulfilled potential.

For a sophomore, he's [Matthew Stafford] got great potential. He had a great game against us, that's for sure. He's one of the best young quarterbacks I've ever seen in Texas. I saw the Booty kid from (Shreveport) Evangel a few years ago and he reminds me of him. He's got good size, he can make all the throws and he has great poise. He's just got unbelievable poise.

I'm fairly excited about how we're playing. We're not there yet, but we're showing our potential. I see us reaching it. The question is, can we do that consistently? We cannot afford a night when we don't have our A game.
