All year long, we have relied on our defense and we are going to have to do that at state.

The positive side is that we put together about 12 minutes of play where our offense, defense and kicking game played probably as well as we could play at this particular point of the season. That was only 12 or so minutes, though.

Sweet wasn't overpowering, but she changed speed well and they played good defense behind her. It was a very good game, back and forth. They have a very solid team, and we can correct our errors. All of our errors were in the last tree innings.

We expect [opposing teams] to look at our defense and know they are young guys and try to take advantage, but if they come through the crease, we make them not want to come through it again. That's our whole game plan. If they catch the ball, they're not coming back.

Really it's not the secondary that's being tested, ... it's the pass defense.

The verdict is very disappointing and we consider it unfair and we will contact immediately the legal defense team to study the possibilities of appealing it,
