Allie is a great take-on artist. She is extremely crafty with the ball, although we're looking for her to be more aggressive and look to shoot more. Kim has been the most improved player in practice. She is doing everything a forward needs to do.

Scoring first was big because we've struggled with that against good teams. But you've always got to be cautious with Rapids. They've got some speed and you can never count them out.

We had smart decision-making in the first half and played pretty soccer. We came out with confidence.

I thought she (Bauer) did a real good job. She made some saves where she tipped the ball to herself. To their credit, I thought they were much improved as a team.

No one person is to blame for something like that. We gave up as corner kick and we were not able to clear the ball. That kind of misfortune can take the fire out of you a little bit. But I think we showed if we fix a few things, we can play with the big teams.

In our defense we want everyone to help each other out. We have some experience back there. It's just a matter of how long it takes for that group to get comfortable together.
