An audience really gets the once-in-a-lifetime chance to see one of today's most compelling blues artists doing what he loves to do best. It will be a pretty special show.

It's a chance for the artists to have a very personal relationship with the listener.

We basically play whatever Kim wants to play, and whatever he plays he has fun with. He often will pull out material from the very early Thunderbirds records and play it for the fans.

We have no gimmicks. We play pure traditional music from the heart, with an image that conveys a deep respect for the genre.

I hope it gets cold pretty quick. I'm getting calls from people in Ohio and Indiana who usually come up to Saginaw Bay to fish this time of year, but I'm telling them to wait a couple of weeks. It looks pretty warm for the next 10 days, but by the end of January it should get a lot colder.

They're out in about 14 feet of water. That's where the fish are. I've been getting a few walleyes in the evenings in here, but most of the fish are out by that first drop-off.
