An individual's state of being can only meaningfully be defined by others.

It's certain in life that on ocassion we will fail. Fall from the graces of others and be unable to see a forest's edge. But as certain as the darkness, is the light God will bring again. Our job is to prepare for it.

Some men lead by fear. Fear of that which can not be seen or known for this can be very effective when combined with the essential, requisite element of a truth, no matter how small. And such leaders of modern historical times have accomplished many memorable deeds. But they were certainly not great men. Nor were their actions.

Be divided for me. Be not divided because of me.

It's the pompous and vain that have their king captured. Not by royality, but the pawn.

I sometimes wonder how many beautiful black sweaters have been knit from my wool.
