Is it better to be thought normal and be forgotten for achieving average things, or thought insane and be remembered for doing the things that were thought impossible?

Everybody knows there is no such thing as normal. There is no black-and-white definition of normal. Normal is subjective. There's only a messy, inconsistent, silly, hopeful version of how we feel most at home in our lives.

One day I sat thinking, almost in despair; a hand fell on my shoulder and a voice said reassuringly; 'Cheer up, things could be worse' So I cheered up, and sure enough, things got worse

I have a normal life and I have this glamorous life, but to me it's two different things.
