An MFO vehicle was damaged. The two occupants of the vehicle are unharmed and uninjured.

The occupants of the vehicle reported an explosion under the vehicle as it was going on an Egyptian public highway south of an MFO facility.

The officers stopped the vehicle and requested the three occupants to get out of the car while they searched it.

Upon stopping the vehicle, the officer engaged the two occupants of the vehicle. During the course of taking the suspects in to custody, a shot was fired by the officer, and one of the suspects involved received a gunshot wound.

The suicide bomber died on the spot but the explosion did not cause any damage.

You cannot call it an attack because it was on a public highway and we're not certain of how it occurred.
