And I also coach Travis Chambers of Heritage, who place third in that race. So it's kind of like we went 1-2-3-4.

And I don't even know if the freestyle is Jay's best stroke.

That's pretty impressive when you consider there were like 12 teams there. Most teams have one or two top-notch kids in their relays, and then there's a bit of a drop off. But with us, we have four or five swimmers who are all fast, but not standouts by themselves.

If you set a goal for yourself and are able to achieve it, you have won your race. Your goal can be to come in first, to improve your performance, or just finish the race-it's up to you.

This has been about the fifth or sixth year that we have volunteered at the race. We enjoy going out there and meeting with the runners and helping them out. This really gives us a chance to support the community that has supported us over the last few years.

I've been going to the race since 1996.
