And part of a patient's perception that he's beaten this disease, are with the return of normal bladder function and normal sexual function. That's what makes them feel whole, like they're back on track. Their cancer's defeated and they can get on with their life.

I think there's a perception that living with HIV is kind of like managing diabetes or some other disease. You simply take a few pills and go on with life.

The problem is, forget whether it's real or not, there is a perception that it creates a blight.

The current perception is that there is enough crude and heating oil around, thus the slide in prices.

I do think that our perception of reality is fragmentary, and in 20th-century literature, it’s totally normal to not describe reality as something whole and completely transportable and explicable. That’s been accepted in novels. But genre films always pretend that reality is transportable, which means that it is explicable.

While we all have our own perception about what is going on that is filtered through our experience, there is at the bottom the simple truth, which is what I look for.
