And whoever desires the hereafter and strives for it as he ought to strive and he is a believer; (as for) these, their striving shall surely be accepted.

C.J. is a great player and I strive to push him harder the way he strives to push me hard. Doing that is going to make us both better.

Surely Ours is it to show the way, / And most surely Ours is the hereafter and the former.

And whoever is blind in this, he shall (also) be blind in the hereafter; and more erring from the way.

Most surely there is a sign in this for him who fears the chastisement of the hereafter; this is a day on which the people shall be gathered together and this is a day that shall be witnessed.

And that the hearts of those who do not believe in the hereafter may incline to it and that they may be well pleased with it and that they may earn what they are going to earn (of evil).
