And ye returned and wept before the LORD; but the LORD would not hearken to your voice, nor give ear unto you.

Therefore hearken not ye to your prophets, nor to your diviners, nor to your dreamers, nor to your enchanters, nor to your sorcerers, which speak unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon: / For they prophesy a lie unto you, to remove you far from your land; and that I should drive you out, and ye should perish.

Lord, I cry unto thee: make haste unto me; give ear unto my voice, when I cry unto thee.

And Moses said before the LORD, Behold, I am of uncircumcised lips, and how shall Pharaoh hearken unto me?

And it shall come to pass, if ye diligently hearken unto me, saith the LORD, to bring in no burden through the gates of this city on the sabbath day, but hallow the sabbath day, to do no work therein; / Then shall there enter into the gates of this city kings and princes sitting upon the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, they, and their princes, the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem: and this city shall remain for ever.

And Jacob kissed Rachel, and lifted up his voice, and wept.
