Another night where we took a ballclub to the limit and fortunately things worked out for us. I don't really know where we'd be without Kent.

I tell myself every night, 'The season's not over. You've got to battle,' ... You can't dictate how many RBIs you get from where you hit in the lineup, usually. But you can dictate the batting average by just having good at-bats and trying to put good swings on it.

All night I laid on that ground, in stitches, and watched buses passing. We'd get up thinking they were for us, but they just kept on going. In my condition, I couldn't even walk. Every minute I had to stop walking because the cut was burning.
