Anybody that thinks I'm a better coach than him has been out to lunch too long.

The intensity was really high. I think Sean (XU coach Miller) has a tremendous team, without question an NCAA Tournament team. We had our chances in regulation and in overtime and just did not make enough plays.

I terminated the interview when I didn't know what he was talking about and went upstairs to lunch.

He did indicate that he's an older person, that he's learned more, that he thinks he's a wiser person and he has a better grasp and understanding about constitutional rights and liberties.

What I've told the guys is that there's some uncertainty here -- about the program, about the coach, about a lot of things. They don't know how everything is going to turn out, so it only makes sense for them to explore their options a little bit.

We keep playing all these teams, we're going to find that assistant coach who thinks he's overrated. Or that guy is already home.
