Anything that has to do with tax relief is politically appealing.

It hearkens back to the homecoming king, as to who can collect the most coins.

It suggests that the escalation of the cost (of running) for governor has now moved on down the line. You wonder if it's not some destructive competition to see who can spend more to win the consolation prize.

That gives a hollow ring to claims of revived grassroots interests.

It's fundamentally unfair to have so much of the tax relief go to so few. And it is a 10-year tax plan rather than one, as mine, focused on the next two years, which in my opinion is the critical time to jumpstart the economy.

I strongly support tax relief for the middle class.
