Anytime someone destroys public property, they are harming their own community. It's upsetting to us.

He was suspended with pay, which is our legal obligation to do. As of (Thursday), Mr. McCormack has resigned from his position with the Dearborn Public Schools. That will officially take place at the Board of Education meeting on Monday.

We will have to make up that time somehow.

I understand they're frustrated with the confusion over the days. However, the worst thing that happened is they got an extra day of school.

There was a need for it. I talked to my wife . . . This community has been good to us, and we're happy to give as much as we can.

I got to play on a team of great guys in a great community. This community kept us going throughout all the bad times. Win, lose or draw we are all happy.
