Apart from the desire to produce beautiful things, the leading passion of my life has been and is hatred of modern civilization.

I love women. I'm trying to do beautiful things with them. I'm not trying to insult them. My life is not about that.

I'm not attached to things at all. I'm very lucky to have quite a few beautiful things, but if I look back at my life, I was often happiest when I had very little.

They want me. I want them. I want this place. I want everything to be simple and beautiful and warm.

The highest and most beautiful things in life are not to be heard about, nor read about, nor seen but, if one will, are to be lived.

Looking at beautiful things is what makes me the happiest.
