All art is propaganda. It is universally and inescabably propaganda; sometimes unconsciously, but often deliberately, propaganda.

Propaganda is that branch of the art of lying which consists in nearly deceiving your friends without quite deceiving your enemies.

Only in a concert situation do I have access to people directly to preach to them, and I don't believe that the bigger your platform is, the more people will pay attention.

It's the difference between art and propaganda or quality entertainment and propaganda. I'm not interested in convincing. The pulpit in churches is for that purpose. The pulpit for politicians is for that purpose. It doesn't belong in movies.
