Art used to be made in the name of faith. We made cathedrals, we made stained-glass windows, we made murals.

I grew up in what you might call a relentlessly creative household. We were given art supplies, music supplies... Our mother knew enough to get us started and then stand back and not meddle. My parents never said to us, 'Don't you think you'll need something to fall back on?' They acted as though creativity was completely normal.

They came out very strong, and we just weren't thinking. In the second half we were getting the passing down and spread the field.

Immediately after the game, all I was thinking about was this game.

We were more focused. We were thinking if we can win this one, we can win the region championship. That's what motivated us. I got onto the players. I told them we've got four new coaches and they all came here for a reason. That's because they think we can win. We don't want to disappoint them.
