As a dream when one awaketh; so, O Lord, when thou awakest, thou shalt despise their image.

And when they heard it, they glorified the Lord, and said unto him, Thou seest, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are which believe; and they are all zealous of the law: / And they are informed of thee, that thou teachest all the Jews which are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, saying that they ought not to circumcise their children, neither to walk after the customs.

And when David enquired of the LORD, he said, Thou shalt not go up; but fetch a compass behind them, and come upon them over against the mulberry trees.

The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering? / And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day? / And when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.

Thou, O LORD, remainest for ever; thy throne from generation to generation.

Then said the Lord to him, Put off thy shoes from thy feet: for the place where thou standest is holy ground.
