As a human being you thought the wrong man might be in jail, ... You might have saved him 12 more years in prison. How can you explain that nothing was done?

Once again we have a man who's spent a lot of time in jail - 12 1/2 years in his case - not just for a crime he didn't commit, but for a crime that never happened,

He thought as a sage, though he felt like a man.

I took one look at him and I thought, 'Now, there's a young man who every mother on the jury will love,' ... Years later, that's proven to be true. ... He's a plain, honest person that juries instinctively trust - and actually, so do judges.

We're quite happy with his decision.

He didn't even know where the girl had been killed, ... He took the police and told them it had happened on a bridge that wasn't built until four months after her murder.
