As a transportation community, we're trying to make the whole system as safe as we can.

We're trying to get the fatalities to the point where we have one fatality every 100 million vehicle miles (by 2008).

Everybody is involved with this.

We're trying to send a message to the community that when someone goes above and beyond, we'll recognize it.

This is a mayor who has reached out to every part of the city, every community, and is trying to make improvements for everyone in the city, ... And it's a shame that Mr. Ferrer's campaign has to get into the divisive and negative tactics that failed him in the past.

The community, the city that I live in, we're trying to clean the community up, to bring it up, ... We can't tolerate anybody that's going to bring it down so, in my opinion, these guys needed to go.
