As far as I am concerned, this will be a short ceremony at which Mr. Mobutu is supposed to agree to leave. Otherwise our forces now advancing on the route to Kinshasa will eject him.

I am made to believe he (Mobutu) will cooperate with us and avoid a bloody confrontation for Kinshasa.

The war against the devil continues. But there is still much work to be done and to finish the job we must get to Kinshasa.

The end should come very swiftly. I do not see the hold-out on Kinshasa lasting long. It will come in the next few days.

Whatever happens, if there are summits we will be there, provided it takes place after the funeral,
